Our History
Matras Srl was founded in 1971 by a few customs brokers specialized in the importing of goods in Italy. This initial apparent limitation allowed, in the earlier years of activity, to develop a perfect know how of all customs issues, both in national and EU community environments.
In the light of this knowledge, it was possible to guide the customers in the markets in which they intended to purchase and optimize at the same time the shipping costs, by utilizing our local agents. Once import results were consolidated, the passage to also managing Export shipments was a natural consequence.
Strengthened by the experience gained we are at this point able to manage shipments from and to all countries worldwide, regardless of the sale or purchase conditions.
